OpenStreetMap US is governed by a board of directors made up of five volunteer individuals. Two of the five positions are up for election in 2024. You must be an OSM US Individual Voting Member to vote or run for the board.

Last fall, TomTom became the first financial backer of MapRoulette, a volunteer-run project fiscally hosted by OpenStreetMap US. We put out the call to the OSM community to meet or beat TomTom’s donation by raising another $5,000. Meta answered that call, helping us meet our initial goal of raising $10,000 by December 31 to support minimum maintenance into the new year.
If your organization uses MapRoulette, we challenge you to follow TomTom and Meta’s lead and invest in the future of this amazing project.
