Join us this week for a special Mappy Hour! Graduate students from the University of Virginia Data Science Program will present their capstone work analyzing OpenStreetMap data in the US to determine which zip codes may be under-mapped to promote informed mapping.

In support of National Water Quality Month in the US, we’ve been mapping water quality & access features for 12 Months of OSM.

We love community initiatives that travel the USA! In August, mappers quickly improved speed limits with incorrect units in California, and then Nevada on MapRoulette. Next stop: Oregon, Washington, & Hawaii.

Shout-out to Minh Nguyễn for setting up the projects and all the mappers that have contributed so far!

OpenStreetMap US at State of the Map
