Make an impact this holiday season through mapping!
Last summer, the OpenStreetMap community mapped over 3,000 playspace features in Philadelphia to support KABOOM! in their mission of eliminating playspace inequity! We need your help again - this time to map parks & playspaces in Colorado.

With the support of the Colorado Health Foundation, this playspace data will become the basis of a strategic roadmap that details not only where playgrounds are, but their condition- enabling KABOOM!, community members, municipal leaders, and other philanthropic partners to accurately understand what playspace inequity looks like within these communities and address it through advocacy and data-guided investment.

Community Spotlight: OSM US Trails Working Group
In October, individuals came together virtually to discuss how the OpenStreetMap community can better support responsible recreation and use of OpenStreetMap trail data.

Since then, this conversation has developed into the Trails Working Group with representatives from the OSM US mapping community, land management agencies including the National Park Service, US Forest Service, and US Geological Survey, and companies that develop navigational apps.

Learn more about the Trails Working Group's approach and how you can get involved in our latest blog post!
Congrats to our 30 Days of OpenStreetMap winners!

All four winners tied for most number of days contributing during the month and won gifts from our swag shop. Thank you to the winners and the other 17 mappers that joined the fun this year!
