OpenStreetMap US

The OSM community is a valuable partner for government agencies often overlooked. Through close collaboration, shared requirements for new and emerging technologies can be achieved. TriMet adopted OSM over a decade ago as its official street network for all transit operations. This session will provide an understanding of fundamental requirements, best practices for public-private collaboration, and how to implement a continuous maintenance plan that meets the needs for everyone.

Bibiana McHugh

Bibiana initiated several advancements in the transportation industry including Google Transit, GTFS and OTP. She led a comprehensive OSM improvement project in 2010 and implemented a successful data maintenance plan that has matured over the years.
