OpenStreetMap US

Places of worship enhance community wellbeing by providing spiritual spaces and social services, yet access varies across the U.S. Using OpenStreetMap data, we mapped locations, calculated service areas, and estimated population access at the tract and ZCTA levels. This analysis highlights accessibility gaps and demonstrates how OSM can guide future mobility planning and equitable urban development over the next decade.
