How can mapping or Open Street Maps enhance the lives of neurodivergent people? What is neurodiversity? Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that, at its core, triumphs different types of brains: autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, Tourette’s, and many more. This presentation will encourage mapmakers to think about neurodiversity when they describe map features, use datasets, and collaborate. I will cover sensory-friendly mapping, inclusive cartography, and game-based learning.
