For almost 15 years, MAPC has been aggregating and developing a centralized GIS trail database for the greater Boston region. Hear how the database is being used to plan a regional greenway network, to create and expand a public facing map, initiate projects, and launch a statewide trails initiative.

David is a Transportation Planner at MAPC, the regional planning agency for the Boston Region. He has been there since 2008, with a focus on improving safety, mobility, and data for cyclists and pedestrians.
