This project aims to map public libraries across the USA in OpenStreetMap by adding missing locations and enriching metadata with operator type, website tags, and more. My progress—documented on a dedicated WikiOSM page—includes completing 8 states (NC, SC, KY, GA, WV, VA, TN, FL) so far. My approach is highly visual, featuring print map layouts for several states (example here: https://arcg.is/1155aa0), with plans to develop an interactive mobile version to enhance accessibility and engagement!

A recent William & Mary graduate with a B.S. in Data Science (Spatial Analytics) and Sociology, I’ve mapped for OpenStreetMap for over two years, contributing 250+ hours just this year—and yes, I do spot unmapped sidewalks in my sleep!
