OpenStreetMap US

Mapillary is an open street-level imagery platform powered by community-contributed imagery.Mapillary helps the community enrich and validate OpenStreetMap data. We formed partnership with OSM US and distributed GoPro MAX cameras to increase Mapillary coverage across the US.

In this talk,we will walk you through Mapillary and its technology, our camera grant initiative’s impact, and our ambitious mission to cover every street in major US cities. Join us and let’s map the world together!

Alyssa Castronuovo

Alyssa’s background includes supporting volunteers and nonprofit programs from Virginia to California, plus many hours as a volunteer herself. She completed her bachelor’s degree in both Anthropology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at William & Mary and loves exploring the beautifully mapped bike and pedestrian infrastructure in her home of Richmond, Virginia.
