In this talk, we will explore how we can use Uber H3 indexes for both vector and raster analysis. We’ll discuss performance considerations, limitations, advantages, and how H3 tiles with raster cell values can be presented on maps. We’ll also cover Raster-to-H3 conversion strategies. Our toolkit will include rasterio, gdal,COG,PostgreSQL and their integration with H3 Python and h3ronpy libraries. We’ll go through the analysis process using vector datasets from OSM & couple of available COG
