At SOTMUS: SLC, I told the story of how I became the owner of the oldest map store in New England. I discussed challenges of small business ownership, insights into how the public uses and perceives maps and how to support contemporary cartography in a marketplace that doesn’t know what maps are for. So much has happened since then and I want to provide the next chapter of my journey and share what I’ve learned after two years running this legacy company.
