Come join us for an afternoon of mapping on January 26. All over the US, starting at 12 noon Eastern going until 6PM Pacific and longer, we will be improving the US map. Join us at one of the locations below or virtually on #osm-us irc.oftc.net. If you haven’t ever mapped, this is a good time to come out and ask someone to show you – it’s really simple!
You can contribute in a number of ways:
- Maproulette at https://maproulette.org
- Improve your home town
- Capture speed limits and turn restrictions (no u-turn, no left turn, etc)
- Be creative ….
We will be using #editathon for our commit messages to create a visulization of our changes afterwards.
