Mark Your Calendars for November 11 & 12, 2022!
OpenStreetMap US is thrilled to announce the return of Mapping USA in November - this year in partnership with WikiConference North America. Join us for our third annual virtual community gathering celebrating everything you’re contributing to OpenStreetMap (and now, Wikimedia too)! We hope that this joint virtual event will enable many across the country to attend that otherwise wouldn’t be able to join an in-person conference.
Submit Proposals through October 15
We are calling on all members of the OpenStreetMap US & Wikimedia North America communities to share your ideas and session proposals. Whether you are brand new to or have been a core contributor since the beginning, we want to hear from you and invite proposals about contributing to the Wiki and OpenStreetMap ecosystems. Submit your proposal here!
The program will include space for short talks, workshops, birds of a feather sessions, and there’s even room for improvisational sessions, editing/mapping parties and other ideas you might have. In the spirit of our collaboration with WikiConference North America, we are particularly interested in proposals centering on the theme of Open Knowledge Collaboration as well as proposals highlighting projects interlinking Wikimedia + OpenStreetMap.
