Remote sensing students need to learn how to interpret satellite imagery in order to classify objects into data. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? I would like to share a lesson plan on the elements of image interpretation that incorporates OpenStreetMap into an exercise that engages students by showing them how they can contribute to usable data.
