For a continent like Africa, the world is constantly trying to know what is and what is not in its data. Native data has been unavailable for years but that is changing. Innovative tools and strategies being built by intentional data acquisition companies are changing the landscape. Organizations like Milsat Technologies are leveraging modern technologies and local communities to improve data accuracy and availability. They are tapping into communities like OSM to improve data education within the Continent. Their tools and improved data standards are poised to make African data accurate and available by 2024
