Remember June 1, 2012. It’s when the CDC finally had to issue the following statement: “CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms),” wrote agency spokesman David Daigle in an email to The Huffington Post .
There have been a series of horrific things that have occurred over the last month in the US. My guess this happens quite a bit but one attack in Miami unleashed stories of the zombie apocalypse. It was fun the first day, and then got increasingly annoying because there aren’t zombies. Right?
Which actually led me to wonder if you did have a zombie apocalypse where would you head first. I have an ancient shotgun. I need something better. So where would you go? In the southeast we have three fairly large stores where you can get food, guns, and supplies: Costco, Walmart, and Kmart.

So your mission this week should you choose to accept it: Map out all the Costco, Sears, and Walmart. Put a Point in the center of the store or polygon off the building. Attach an address to the location. Remember – right before civilization goes horribly wrong the first thing on your mind will be OpenStreetMap and possibly the last if you don’t run very fast.
