The deadline to submit session proposals for State of the Map San Francisco is this Sunday, April 28 at midnight PST . If you’d like to present, plan to get your session idea submitted by then.
We’ve received many amazing proposals so far and are excited to build a diverse and interesting conference program. We’d love to hear from even more people doing great work with OpenStreetMap – whether that’s building tools, adding to the map, using it in your school or government agency, building a business around OSM, or getting your local community involved in contributing.
The proposal process is simple – just tell us in 200 words or less what you’d like to talk about. All sessions will be 20 minutes, with five minutes for Q&A. If you’re interested in participating in a panel discussion or another type of session, feel free to submit that too and we’ll consider it as we shape the final schedule. After Sunday’s deadline, the program committee will get down to work selecting presenters and creating the program. Expect to see a final schedule by mid-May.
