This weekend OpenStreetMap turns 10. Join the celebration at a #mapathon event in your city. Come out and map, discuss and learn about OpenStreetMap. Trace your home town, survey your neighborhood or just log into the new Maproulette birthday challenge on spelling errors.
Attending a #mapathon is a great opportunity to meet up among your local community to improve the map or to get to learn OpenStreetMap if you haven’t ever tried it before.
Here’s a full list of all registered cities. If you’d like to host a birthday event yourself, it’s not too late - get yourself onto the wiki.
