A little worn from the national elections of last month? Maybe even still reeling from it? Or reeling from the holiday festivities of late? Fear not! OpenStreetMap US kicks into high gear with our own election season. Reel with us because - Voting starts this weekend! Members will begin receiving ballots on Sunday, December 11th.
If you have been waiting for that perfect holiday gift that says how much you love your map, now is the time to cyber give. Become a member and Vote! Members that join before the end of the voting period will receive a ballot.
We have eight (8!) amazing OpenStreetMap US members running for your board. We look to all of you for the selection of next year’s leadership. Hear what the candidates have to say in their personal statements (linked below) and come to our candidate townhall next Wednesday, December 14th at 8pm ET to hear those manifestos in person.
Elections close at 11:59pm next Sunday, December 18th. Sharp.
