OpenStreetMap US is excited to announce that we are now accepting proposals for the redesign of our website openstreetmap.us.
What Are We Looking For?
Our current website at openstreetmap.us is 6-7 years old. While our mission has not changed, we feel that the site does not address our needs entirely. The organization has grown as well as our offerings, and we’d like the website to reflect these changes.
Who Should Submit A Proposal?
A central objective of this project is to create a website that is designed for community accessibility and maintainable by OSM US contributors. We favor technology and software that have large maintainer pools in the open source community, and invite candidates to review current OpenStreetMap projects on GitHub and familiarize themselves with technologies already used in order to maximize support by the community.
