Meet our team
Maggie Cawley
Maggie is currently the full time Executive Director for OpenStreetMap US, based in Baltimore, Maryland, working to support and grow OpenStreetMap US. She was a board member for two years and is part of the TeachOSM Steering Committee. With TeachOSM, she has developed curriculum around OSM and open source geospatial tools, and is a constant promoter of OSM into educational systems and processes. Her background includes work in urban planning, GIS analysis, project management, and field data collection.
Nellie Blair
Nellie Rose Blair has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She received a master’s in urban and regional planning from Virginia Commonwealth University. She graduated from The College of William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in studio art and psychology.
Quincy Morgan
Quincy is a mapper, developer, and traveler from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He currently supports community tools and websites as Technical Lead at OpenStreetMap US. Previously, he was a maintainer of the iD editor.
Alyssa Castronuovo
Alyssa’s background includes supporting volunteers and nonprofit programs from Virginia to California, plus many hours as a volunteer herself. She completed her bachelor’s degree in both Anthropology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at William & Mary and loves exploring the beautifully mapped bike and pedestrian infrastructure in her home of Richmond, Virginia.
Jake Low
Jake is a software developer and mapmaker based in Seattle, Washington. He currently works at OpenStreetMap US, supporting MapRoulette, OSMCha, and other community tools. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and mapping trails in OSM.
