Working with the campus sustainability office, I have been working on mapping campus bike and transportation infrastructure with university students using OSM. UW-Stout is a small university campus without a campus GIS database, so OSM provides a user-friendly way to map sustainability infrastructure. In this talk I discuss my first attempts to teach novice students how to use OSM to document biking, transportation, and other sustainability related infrastructure on campus.
