I’ll describe briefly some of the administrative aspects of running a Wikimedia affiliate, based on my experience as an officer of Wikimedia DC and consultation with others. The lightning talk will highlight local North American affiliates and some potential growth opportunities, including forming larger organizations, called Hubs.
