OpenStreetMap US

The OSM Colorado team started in 2016 building project documentation and brokering relationships with government agencies to begin importing building footprints (generated from 3” imagery flown by our Regional Planning partners DRCOG) with addresses (from the CO OIT statewide address layer). Along the way we have built amazing relationships with our government data providers and also among ourselves! We have colleagues at DRCOG, City of Denver and the State GIS office. We also have power editors in Denver that have been patient with new additions to their high quality edit areas, and seen gains in our new-editor community rallying around the goal of building a 3D model with addresses! We even have private partners in Mapbox, Mapillary and Digital Globe.
