OpenStreetMap US

The Unacast geolocation platform ‘Turbine’ was built to contextualise Telco signal. Turbine enhances raw signals by routing a probabilistic path across the OSM graph, according to weights defined by the underlying signal. With this, users can understand movement and transport on a vast scale. When applied to high quality Telecoms data, traffic patterns, public transport, and demographic flows can all be understood with extraordinary detail, even for sparse data. We demonstrate the power of this platform, and the insights it can provide.
