OpenStreetMap US

MapRVA is a local group of OpenStreetMap contributors in Richmond, VA. We are eager to expand our reach and take on increasingly ambitious mapping projects in our city. To support these efforts, we’ve launched maprva.org to document our mission and ongoing work. We built this site using the new Dogwood theme from OpenStreetMap US. In this lightning talk I’ll discuss some specifics of how to use Dogwood, and how it can benefit other local OSM communities looking to improve their online presence.

Dogwood is the theme powering this website, developed in-house as an open source community resource. Dogwood pushes the envelope of static site generation, supporting large, complex, customizable sites. You can try it out for your own website.
