Using the visitor information handouts at Acadia National Park as a case study, this session will illustrate a cartographic design process that simultaneously builds value for OSM and the the Park Service. Attendees will get an insider’s view into my approach to micro-mapping, developing wayfinding solutions, and balancing the needs of the OSM community and users with the needs of park visitors utilizing the traditional printed map.
