Meta’s mapping teams have been working with local communities throughout the United States to map sidewalks and crosswalks in OSM. Significant progress has been made in D.C., NYC, Phoenix, and Austin, with Miami, L.A. and other cities in progressing.

In this talk we cover:

  2. How MapRoulette and MapWithAI Tasking managers are used.
  3. How ML derived crosswalks and sidewalks speed up the process.
  4. How OSM tag choices effect routing.
