OpenStreetMap US

With only a few days to go until the State Of The Map US conference, the nominations for the Chapter board elections are in full swing. All board seats are going to be vacated, and current board members can decide to stand down or stand for re-election. If you feel strongly about OpenStreetMap’s direction for the US, you should consider running for a board seat. The only formal requirement is that you are a member of the US Chapter.

The elections themselves coincide with the conference, starting on Friday, October 12. US Chapter Members will have 48 hours to cast their vote, either at the Annual General Meeting or over the internet as per instructions all members will be receiving shortly.

It is not too late to become a member of the Chapter so you can vote for the next board, or even nominate yourself! Just click on Membership > Join above and get started.
