OpenStreetMap US

We’re offering a discounted early bird admission rate of just $75 to State of the Map San Francisco for everyone who registers by this Friday, May 3 by midnight PST . After Friday, ticket prices will go up to $125 for the two day conference. If you plan to join us in San Francisco for the conference, sign up before Friday and save $50.

We also recommend reserving hotel rooms now as the week following SOTM is a busy conference week in San Francisco . There’s a discounted hotel block set aside at the Holiday Inn Civic Center, which is conveniently located, affordable, and will be full of other OpenStreetMap folks. We recommend booking there before May 10, when we lose our room hold.

State of the Map US is shaping up to be the largest OpenStreetMap gathering to date with 350+ people expected to attend. The conference itself will be two full days on June 8 & 9 with 50+ breakout sessions on topics like editing in OpenStreetMap, the future of routing, and successful projects utilizing OpenStreetMap from government agencies like the National Park Service to transit services to businesses like craigslist. There will also be a day of workshops on June 7 and a sprint day on June 10. More preliminary schedule details are available on the conference website .
