OpenStreetMap US

Mark your calendars, join and consider running an OpenStreetMap #editathon. The next OpenStreetMap #editathon is on January 18 and 19 2014. All over the United States, starting at 12 noon Eastern going until 6PM Pacific each day and longer, we will be improving the US on OpenStreetMap.

The call for locations is open, add your city!

Host an #editathon in your community. All you need is a location (a bar, your office, a living room, a public library) with enough seating and internet. Rather go outside and survey? That’s a great idea, too.

US-wide #editathon sessions are a great opportunity to bring your local community together and map: outside mapping, inside mapping, coding, whatever it is you think best to improve the US on OpenStreetMap. Read more on why we’re doing #editathons.

Join us by hosting an #editathon simply by adding your location, times and contact information on the Wiki.
