For the second year running, craigslist is the top sponsor for the OpenStreetMap US conference, pledging diamond level support, as they did for the San Francisco event in 2013.
craigslist implemented OpenStreetMap for its users two years ago, and has been a key supporter ever since. Jim Buckmaster, CEO at craigslist, added:
“OpenStreetMap has been great for us, and we had a lot of fun at State of the Map last year, so returning for 2014 was a no brainer.”
The annual State of the Map US conference is the largest gathering of OpenStreetMap community members from across the country. Come meet the people who create, analyze, and use OpenStreetMap with several days of talks, workshops, and social events. It’s the best party in mapping.
The 4th State of the Map US conference took place at the Washington Convention Center and the historic national headquarters of the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C.
