OpenStreetMap US

State of the Map US is just over two weeks away. If you haven’t registered yet, get your ticket today. Space is filling up fast. So far 375 people have signed up for the conference, meaning we’re on track to be one of the largest OpenStreetMap gatherings ever. Again.

The growth in people participating in OpenStreetMap conferences in recent years has been remarkable, and I can’t wait to see so many supporters and contributors gather in Washington, DC to talk about the future of OpenStreetMap and ways they’re using it.

Take a look at the schedule to get a feel for how those conversations are shaping up. There will be sessions on topics like geocoding, rendering, cartography, improving the map, engaging the community, and using OpenStreetMap in government, humanitarian relief, businesses, and education. If there’s something you want to talk about but don’t see on the schedule, lead a Birds of a Feather session on it - there will be two rooms available for sessions organized on the fly. Look for the whiteboard by registration to claim a spot and see what’s happening.

Get your tickets today to reserve your spot at State of the Map US April 12 & 13, and follow @sotmus for updates as we get closer to the event. See you in DC!
