OpenStreetMap US
The program for State of the Map US is now live!
  • Over 50 talks and panels with topics covering community, government, humanitarian relief, education, urban planning, geocoding, navigation, map rendering, software tools and ideas for the future of OpenStreetMap
  • 18 lightning talks
  • 12 talks on the “State of the Map” in 18 countries around the world

Our goal was to put together a program that reflects the diversity of OpenStreetMap. We received well over 200 submissions to our call for sessions which enabled us to do exactly that. More so than ever before, State of the Map US will bring together people from all over the world to share their experiences and exchange their ideas about the future of OpenStreetMap.

State of the Map US is taking place June 6-8 at the United Nations in New York City. If you have not booked your trip yet, register for the conference and take a look at the discounted hotel rates we have secured.

On June 6 and 7, expect talks, panels, lightning talks and ad-hoc birds of a feather sessions. On June 8 we are hosting a hands-on hack day with a code and documentation sprint, a Missing Maps mapathon, a Maptime Summit, a Teach OSM workshop for educators and technical workshops on working with OpenStreetMap data.

Head over to the program on the conference web site to read up on talks and schedule.

We are looking forward to seeing you in New York!
