OpenStreetMap US

Mark your Autumn calendars for OpenStreetMap and the outdoor theater that is Boulder, Colorado. State of the Map US 2017 will take place at the University of Colorado Boulder come mid-Fall (otherwise known as October) and we want you there!

Colorado has something for everyone and both the OpenStreetMap US board and the local organizing team believe Boulder is an ideal location for State of the Map US 2017. Beyond its striking landscape (clearly. see above!), Boulder is home to some of the nation’s most iconic geo landmarks and communities. Combined with it’s central location, Boulder is both the most convenient and perfect geo destination for many of us, regardless of what coast you tend to.

Camille Cassidyand Kevin Bullock of DigitalGlobe have started initial planning with The University (a.k.a. CU). With such leadership, we are very excited for the entire Boulder community to host the most significant gathering of the OpenStreetMap US community and conversations. If you are also interested in making this State of the Map US the best conference yet, join us.

You can always contact us directly at sotmus@openstreetmap.us for general inquiries, to join the working group, information about the sponsorship pipeline, or anything else. To sign up for updates, follow our communication channels: on Twitter, Slack and/or join our newsletter.

Map emojis and GIFs will be involved in all. 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

No matter where you are, we look forward to the entire OpenStreetMap US community making this 2017 conference as meaningful as the map we create. See you in October!
